Amaya Inc. changed its name to Stars Group in 2017 after moving their headquarters from Montreal to Toronto, Canada. The initial foundation goes back to 2001, they are today publicly traded on the  Nasdaq and the Toronto Stock Exchange. Today they have offices across North and South America as well as Europe. Their products include a wide selection of gaming and software solutions for online sports book, poker, real money video games, lotteries, slots and table games.
Over the years, the company grew rapidly, mostly achieved by vertical acquisitions such as Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker in 2014. The $3 billion deal saw the Stars Group becoming the world’s largest publicly listed online gaming company. That wasn’t the end yet as they went on to acquire in April 2018 UK betting giant Sky Gaming for another total of $4.7 billion.
Amaya’s main focus and concentration seems to be aimed towards their online and real money poker products. During their campaign they have successfully run well know poker tournaments, including Poker Stars Live at the Hippodrome Casino in London as well as at the City of Dream locations in Macau and Manilla.
The name Amaya may not be immediately associated with video slots; however, they do have quite an extensive catalogue for online casino players. The more noteworthy creations that are regularly seen as players’ favourites, are the DC Super Heroes series for which they signed an exclusive licensing deal with the rights holders. Among the most popular slots in the series are Wonder Woman and Superman, available as standard and progressive jackpot slots.
The most epic slot though must be The Legend of the White Buffalo. With 576 ways to win in a diamond shaped game window with three and four rows, it features Streaming Stacks, White Buffalo Wilds and a Dreamcatcher Free Spins. With a gameplay along the storyline of the buffalos and a maximum win potential of 125,000 coins, it is easily understandable why this slot has become a favourite on casino floors and at online casinos.
Being one of the largest gaming companies trading to this day you can find their slots selection at numerous reputable online brands and several online bookmakers such as ShadowBet, Videoslots, BetVictor, SlotsMagic and PlayOJO.
