Founded in 2018, AvatarUX is a Malta-based game developer with decades of combined experience. A talented team of creatives work closely to power their designs, with the increasingly popular trademarked PopWins game mechanic spearheading the attack.

The studio’s debut game, Lilith’s Inferno, was a hit, achieving Top 50 status across multiple markets as a polished, five-reel, twenty-five payline fantasy game, but didn’t hint of the innovation to follow in the virgin PopWins release, PopRocks. PopWins pops winning symbols into two, dynamically increasing reel height before removing them from the reels. New symbols fill space created for extra chances and a retrigger of the PopWins mechanic for lengthy win sequences of increasing ways.

Since then, the team has never looked back and delivered a steady stream of instantly recognisable PopWins games. Each one has a weight of individuality with the expanding ways mechanic at its core. WildPops, CherryPop, BountyPop, TikiPop, HippoPop and Papaya Pop have their own style, distinguishable features and engaging bound rounds. The mechanic has stretched to 524,288 ways, with PiggyPop leading the pack in 2021, less than two years after the debut title.

AvatarUX has taken the next step on the path to a legendary mechanic with game developer StakeLogic entering an exclusive six-month licencing window of PopWins creativity in October 2021, releasing Joker Drop and Mystery Drop with more to follow.
