Games Global Ltd emerged in 2022 as a new supplier of games, aiming to be the chosen provider of content through collaboration with game studios and developers across the industry. Games Global began with more than 50 studio partners and thousands of titles under its wing and notably acquired the content and distribution arm of the iconic gaming cornerstone, Microgaming, in May 2022.

On Games Global’s official launch day, 3rd May 2022, Walter Bugno, CEO, stated in a press release from the company website:

CEO Walter Bugno brings experience from IGT and Lottomatica and CFO Tim Mickley from SafeCharge and Playtech. Theo Naicker, Chief Operating Officer, carries 20 years of experience at software developers Derivco, and Chief Compliance Officer Kimberley Broad, Chief Product Officer Andrew Booth, and Chief People and Transformation Officer Leila Goelz all bring Microgaming experience along with Julie Allison, Cheif Revenue Officer who also spent time with NetEnt and Red Tiger.
