Review
In another collaboration with Freemantle Media, Gaming Realms combined the immensely popular TV show Britain’s Got Talent with a bingo game as part of their Sling Originals series. Play to games in one to score Slingo lines and collect extra prizes of up to 200 times your bet.
Game Details
Slingo Britain’s Got Talent is a combination of bingo and slot reels with each round being played over a number of draws or spins if you like. It starts with a 5×5 bingo grid with an added horizontal reel at the bottom. For 11 spins per betting round, the reel generates numbers or symbols on each spin. Matching five numbers in a row makes a Slingo, each adding to a ladder of 11 prizes. At the end of each betting round, you can accept the cash prize or buy up to four extra spins to potentially climb further up the ladder.
Available on desktop, tablet and mobile, you can bet from 0.50 to 100 credits per game round. Any bought extra spins will be added to the total stake and deducted from your balance. The game has low volatility (1/5) with an RTP of 95.00%.
The visuals are rather simple with a blue background and the Union Jack. At the front is the game window with the bingo grid in the centre and the prize ladder to the left (desktop). A lively EDM soundtrack provides the main audio to the usual bingo sounds.
Slingo Britain’s Got Talent Game Features
Each game round consists of 11 spins. The bingo card is a 5×5 grid with 25 random numbers between 1 to 75. Each spin draws numbers and/or special symbols shown in the bottom reel. Any hits are marked and doing so with five on one of the 12 lines will be a Slingo. There are also special symbols that will award extras.
- Joker with red hat: Allows you to mark one number on the reel above
- Super Joker with green hat: Allows you to mark any number anywhere on the grid.
- Devil: Is a blocking symbol
- Coins: Awards a random instant coin win
- Free Spin: Awards + free spin, drawing another round of numbers after the 10 default spins have ended.
Landing three Jokers of any colour in the bottom reel will also award a Joker Bonus, which is a random cash prize. Once your 11 spins plus any free spins have played out, you can either collect the prize currently highlighted on the ladder or buy up to four extra spins. The cost is added to your default bet and is based on your chances to hit more Slingo lines. The exact price is shown in the spin button. You can collect at any time.
Final Verdict
Slingo Britain’s Got Talent has surprisingly little in common with the iconic TV show itself. It is basically a standard Slingo game with no added bonus features similar to Slingo Rainbow Riches or Slingo Starburst. There is just a simple prize ladder and a number draw. That’s it, rather baffling. Still, Slingo fans will like to play the game, maybe due to its simplicity.
