My first reaction to this NetEnt creation was that it looks like a clone of Steam Tower, a reasonably successful slot the Swedish studio released back in 2015. And indeed it is a semi-clone as the stacked wild is no longer the trigger for the one and only feature but also the multipliers can reach now x12 in the free spins. A rather poor showing when that is all they can come up with after four years of the original wandering through the casino lobby.

Well, let’s get through it all as there is not really much to report. Hitting chest scatters on reels one, three and five will get you 10 Free Spins with an x3 starting multiplier. There is no retrigger but any regular wild landing on a free spin will award +2 free spins, up to a maximum of 102. However, just like on Steam Tower, you will always get just +2 even when multiple wilds appear on the reels in a single spin.

The same goes for the multiplier meter on top of the game window. It fills up by one section when one or more wilds land on a free spin. Completing a level will see the win multiplier increase from x3 to x5, x7, x9 and ultimately x12. Reaching level five will reward you with an extra coin win of 100x your bet. Final Verdict

After reviewing Piggy Riches Megaways just days earlier, I was hoping to see something equally exciting with their next planned release. However, the crew at NetEnt seems to have taken yet again the lazy road and opted to recycle one of its oldest slots in their portfolio. While they increased the potential multiplier in the bonus round, slot connoisseurs know very well that it is really tough to reach the upper levels with the highest multipliers. Well, I guess Steam Tower fans won’t be too unhappy about this semi-clone as it will give them an alternative when the steampunk is not in a good mood. The question remains whether the underwater goddess will let them plunder the ocean’s treasure.
