Slot Details
El Paso Gunfight xNudge is a video slot with five reels, 2 to 4 rows and 216 or 432 ways to win. In the base game, you can choose your stance for a 4-3-3-3-2 reel layout or a more volatile 2-3-3-3-4. Changes can be done before the start of a spin whereas both will give you 216. During some of the features, the format can increase to a 4-3-3-3-4 size with then 432 ways to win. Pays awarded for three to five matching symbols landing on adjacent reels starting from the left only.
You can witness the epic gunfight on desktop, tablet or mobile from 0.25 to 50 credits per spin. The game has extreme volatility (officially 10/10) with a default RTP of 96.06.% and a hit rate of roughly 1:3.5 spins. Some operators will offer it in the DX1 version with 94.24%, always check the help files to find out which version you will be playing. When using the Bonus Buy button, RTP values will range between 96.12% and 96.79%, based on which feature is purchased.
The reels are set in front of the bar shelving inside the El Paso saloon where the altercations that led to “4 Dead in 5 Seconds” had their beginning. Bullet holes, broken bottles and blood smears indicate that the gunfights were already well on their way. The four characters ending up dead at the end of the gunfights. The soundtrack could come straight from one of Clint Eastwood’s western movies.
The pay symbols start at the low end with card royals from 10 through to A, awarding 0.8x to 1x your bet for a single five of a kind. They are followed by the four protagonists involved in the epic gunfight – Bystander, Hale, Krempkau and Campbell – all appearing in a 3-symbol height at all times. Hit five across the reels to win 2x to 6x your bet.
Stoudenmire himself is the xNudge Wild, substituting for all regular pay symbols. A silver Deputy and a golden City Marshal badge are the bonus symbols on reels one and five respectively while a skull icon with crossed colts acts as the scatter.
El Paso Gunfight xNudge Slot Features
After Tombstone and Deadwood, Nolimit City is returning to the Wild West for another action-filled and extremely volatile reel ride. On this occasion, they chose the events involving legendary Marshal Dallas Stoudenmire in what became known as the “Four Dead in Five Seconds” gunfight. Buckle up as we are taking you through the myriad of features and Bonus Buys included in this slot.
The first decision you will need to make before spinning the reels is to mark your Stance. Use the toggle switch on top of the reels to choose between the 2-3-3-3-4 layout for extreme volatility or the 4-3-3-3-2 layout for high volatility, which in this case is not much lower than the extreme setting. Both formats have 216 ways to win. The direction can be changed before the start of any spin in the base game. Triggering some of the features will open up the full 4-3-3-3-4 reel set with then 432 ways, irrespective of which layout was active at the time.
Unsurprisingly, the heavily moustached Marshal wielding his Smith&Wesson colts plays a significant role in the gameplay, taking on the role of the Stoudenmire xNudge Wilds. They are 3-symbols high stacks of the gunslinger, appearing on reels two to four.
The xNudge mechanic triggers when he lands in partial view only, nudging him up or down until he covers the entire reel. For every nudge, the win multiplier increases by x1, leading to a maximum x4 multiplier. More than one landing on a spin will be added for a total win multiplier of up to x12. In the base game, all multipliers will reset again.
Before heading into the main events, there are a few features that will spice up your Wild West reel adventure. First in line are the Deputy and Marshal Raid modifiers which come in three different variants based on what badges you land on the triggering spin.
- Land silver badge – Deputy Raid: All low-value royals in view and the badge will convert to the same low-value royal.
- Land golden badge – Marshal Raid: All character symbols in full or partial view and the badge will convert to the same character.
- Land silver and golden badge – Deputy and Marshal Raid: Same modifiers as above are applied, plus the game grid opens to the full 4-3-3-3-4 size while the badges turn into wild symbols.
The climax in the base game is the “4 Dead in 5 Seconds” Respin. To trigger the feature, you will need to land all four characters at least in partial view and a Stoudenmire xNudge Wild. The reels will respin once with Stoudenmire expanding into a mega 3×3 xNudge Wild across all three centre reels with the multiplier from the triggering spin. A win is guaranteed in this feature.
On to the main events of which there are four – Gunfight Spins, Deputy Gunfight Spins, Marshal Gunfight Spins and Gunfiguth&r…Spins. All can be triggered directly in the base game while the latter three can also be won as an upgrade during the Gunfight Spins.
Hitting three scatters on reels two, three and four will award 8 Gunfight Spins. Before the start of the feature, you can choose to keep your active Stance or change it once. The three scatters will convert to Jumping Wilds, moving to a random reel position on every free spin. A Stoudenmire xNudge Wild appearing on the same reel as a Jumping Wild will double its multiplier once for each Jumping Wild on the respective reel.
Landing a silver Deputy Badge or a golden Marshal Badge on a Gunfight Spin will award + 1 free spin and upgrade the feature to Deputy Gunfight Spins and Marshal Gunfight Spins respectively. Alternatively, the features can be won by hitting the Deputy or Marshal Badge together with three scatters in a base game spin. The Stance can only be changed when the feature was triggered organically, any upgraded feature will mean that you keep the active Stance.
The two core modifiers in the free spins – scatters turn into Jumping Wilds and the doubling of the Stoudenmire xNudge Wild multiplier – remain unchanged. The triggering badge will activate the same modifier as in the base game – random common royal for Deputy, random common character for Marshal. The difference to the base game is that the badge will turn sticky and thus trigger the associated modifier on every remaining free spin.
Landing three scatters and both badges in the base game will trigger the ultimate feature, 10 Gunfiguth&r… Spins (not a typo). Alternatively, you can upgrade Gunfight Spins by landing both badges on a Gunfight Spin, or the second badge in the Deputy and Marshal Gunfight Spins. An upgrade will transfer the remaining spins to the ultimate feature plus add the +1 spin from either one or both badges.
During the Gunfiguth&r… Spins, all three scatters and both badges transform into Jumping Wilds while the game area increases to the full 4-3-3-3-4 format with 432 ways to win. And there is one more modifier that will have a significant impact. Landing a Stoudenmire xNudge Wild on a reel with one or more Jumping Wilds will again double the multiplier once for each Jumping Wild and then lock it in with the achieved multiplier for all remaining free spins.
Hitting the maximum win of 44,440 will start a special animation Nolimit has called “6 Feet Under”. Any feature still in progress will instantly end and the winning amount is added to your balance.
Nolimit City further expanded its Bonus Buy options on El Paso Gunfight xNudge, offering now no less than six choices that will allow players to take a shortcut and head straight into the main reel gunfight. Although, the privilege is reserved for those who live in a jurisdiction where feature buys have not been restricted.

- 238x bet: Random Bonus is chosen from the five options with the following odds – 60% Gunfight Spins, 10% each for 4 Dead in 5 Seconds Respin, Deputy or Marshal Gunfight Spins and Gunfiguth&r…Spins
- 300x bet: Gets you one 4 Dead in 5 Seconds Respin

Final Verdict
If Tombstone and Deadwood had you polishing your sixshooter and saddling up your bronco, then El Paso Gunfight xNudge will be right up your alley. The volatility, number of features and win potential have steadily increased with each release in the series, peaking now at 44,440 times your bet. The flurry of Bonus Buy options is a clear nod from Nolimit City to the streamer crowd. Odds are high that no recreational player will risk 400x or 800x his/her stake for a single feature.
