They appear in three colours, each indicating a different multiplier – green is the standard wild, yellow fireflies multiply a win by x2 and pink fireflies by x3. However, they will multiply a win only if they are part of the combo. Landing five x3 Multiplier Wilds on a pay line will lead to an x243 multiplier and the aforementioned maximum win. The main event on the game are the Firefly Frenzy Free Spins, which can trigger every time a single moon scatter lands on any reel in a spin. Fireflies will swarm out and will trigger eight free spins if one lands on the scatter.

During the feature, the firefly that triggered the free spins will be the lowest multiplier that can land on the reels. For example, if the yellow firefly lands on the moon scatter, then all wilds appearing on a free spin will be minimum x2 multiplier wilds. Final Verdict

Firefly Frenzy is a beautifully designed slot but in our opinion maybe with just a tad too little happening on the reels. While more than one multiplier wild can land in the base game as well, chances are they will be often the standard x1 wild. Hence, it will be a waiting game to trigger the free spins and hope an x2 or x3 firefly will land on the moon scatter as that significantly increases the chances for mega wins.
