Golden Osiris is a cascading grid slot in a 7×7 format with cluster pays. Wins are awarded for clusters of five or more matching symbols landing horizontally and/or vertically connected. You can delve into Egyptian mythology on desktop, tablet and mobile from 0.10 to 100 credits per spin. The game has high volatility (7/10) with an RTP of 96.27%. Loading the game will take you inside the hidden tomb of Osiris. The grid is flanked by two massive colums etched with ancient hieroglyphs. They also hold the two main displays for the game, the win counter and the pyramid charger. Dieties such as the cat goddess Bastet and the jackal god Anubis dominate on the reels while a supenseful oriental soundtrack provides the fitting audio.

The pay symbols start at the low end with four gems in different shapes and colours – green, blue, yellow and red – awarding 3x to 4x your bet for a cluster of 15 or more symbols. Golden Osiris Slot Features

While Osiris is considered to be one of the most powerful deities in ancient Egyptian mythology, he has not featured near as often on video slots as other gods and goddesses such as Ra, Horus, Bastet or Anubis. Well, Play’n GO is now trying to set the record straight by making him the focal point of their next grid slot.

Just like for most grid slots, Golden Osiris has at its core the cascading symbols mechanic with cluster pays. At the start of a spin sequence, 49 symbols cascade from the top onto the 7×7 game grid. Hit any clusters of five or more matching symbols connected horizontally and/or vertically and you have a winner. All symbols in the combo will explode and new symbols will drop into place. This continues as long as new winning clusters hit after a fresh cascade. All wins are accumulated and paid once a spin sequence concludes.

So far, so good. Pretty normal stuff for a grid slot. But anyone with some experience in online gaming will know that Play’n GO has become a specialist for such slots and will always include some twists and turns into the gameplay. The first are the Hidden Wilds with up to six being added to random positions on the grid for each spin. The blocks with a hidden wild are highlighted, releasing them once they are uncovered by winning combinations. They will then activate and cascade with the remaining symbols. Each wild can display a multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, x7 or x10 which will be applied to any wins it is part of. Only the highest multiplier will be used when more than one is part of a combo.

Golden Osiris – Second Chance Scatter Explosion

Keep an eye on the Pyramid Charger on the right of the game window (desktop). All winning symbols including wilds are added to the charger which will trigger once you collect 25 symbols within the same spin sequence. The pyramid will open and reveal a random pay symbol currently on the grid. The symbol will expand and randomly convert adjacent symbols including clusters of up to 4 symbols. The Pyramid Charge can retrigger indefinitely as long as you keep collecting sufficient symbols. The first charge retrigger will award an x3 win multiplier which will increase in x3 increments for each further retrigger, up to a maximum of x30.

And that’s not all. The final twist in the base game is the Second Chance Scatter Explosion feature. It will trigger every time you have only two scatters in view at the end of a spin and destroy all symbols surrounding the scatters. New symbols cascade into place, giving you another opportunity to keep the spin sequence going and/or land the missing third scatter.

Golden Osiris – Free Spins Feature

Having three Eye of Horus scatters anywhere on the grid by the time a spin sequence concludes will trigger 5 Free Spins which can be indefinitely retriggered with the same combination. The Pyramid will be fully charged at the start of every free spin. It will activate once any initial wins are evaluated and choose only from high-paying symbols – bird, cat, Ankh cross, jackal and scarab – for the expansion feature, providing the extra potential to score big wins. The round ends when you run out of free spins or hit the maximum win cap at 12,000 times your bet.
