Play’n GO is adding another rock slot to their portfolio of branded games and this time they opted again for their signature game format, the grid slot with cascading symbols and cluster pays. To score a win you will need to land at least five matching symbols connected horizontally and/or vertically. All winning symbols will then explode while the reminder drops down and new symbols fall into the empty spaces, potentially creating more winners. The process continues as long until no more winning cluster appears after a cascade.

The Dad Goes Angry feature can trigger randomly on any losing spin, adding two Angry Dad symbols to random positions on the grid and potentially creating a winning cluster.

Three Band Member modifiers will help when winning cascades have come to an end in a spin sequence and as long as you manage to charge at least five bars on the Guitar Charge Meter to the left of the game window. Each band member in a winning cluster will light up one bar, up to a maximum of 15. One of the three modifiers will be then randomly chosen and applied to the current grid once no more winning clusters occur, deducting five bars from the guitar.

Multiple modifiers can trigger during a spin sequence. Landing another cluster with any band member will refill the bars on the guitar. A spin sequence finally ends when no more winning clusters occur and no more modifiers are available.

Keep an eye on the Anger Meter on top of the guitar. Every Angry Dad wild scatter landing in any winning cluster will be added to the meter. Collecting four will trigger the We’re Not Gonna Take It feature once the spin sequence concludes. Each additional Angry Dad will overcharge the meter and increase the win multiplier by x1, no limits.

Get ready to headbang as the band is about to unleash the main act. The grid from the triggering spin clears and a new set of symbols drops onto the reels together with one 2×2 Mega Band symbol and four sticky 1×1 Angry Dads added on random positions. The Mega Band symbol will pay for clusters with matching or mixed band members.

One Angry Dad is randomly selected and the Mega Band symbols will move in its direction one step at a time. Any low-value symbols in its path will be kicked off the grid while winning clusters with band members will be paid before it moves again towards the targeted Angry Dad. Once it reaches the selected target, it will kick it off the screen and then move towards the next Angry Dad symbol. The feature ends when all Angry Dads are taken out and there are no more wins.

The win multiplier from overcharging the Anger Meter on the triggering spin will be active throughout the bonus round and applied to all wins, however, it is fixed and cannot be increased. Guitar charges are also counted and Band Member modifiers trigger as in the base game. However, the Mega Band symbol itself does not add any charges. Throughout the round, you will have their megahit We’re Not Gonna Take It blaring from the speakers.

Final Verdict

Well, Twisted Sister feels like Reactoonz on steroids although the volatility is lower. Maybe that is due to the hard rock tunes as they add a dramatic touch to the action on the reels. Overall, a loud and entertaining game that can net you up to 4,500 times your bet, although the odds are astronomically low at about 1:1 billion spins. It will though deliver more regularly wins in the 250x – 500x range.

Personally, I headbanged countless times to their music in the 80s and 90s, so seeing Twisted Sister performing on a slot from Play’n GO brought back some fond memories of good times gone by. I wanna rock! Again!
