A completely frameless game window is set inside a desert temple facing the entrance while two wizards have positioned themselves on the side. They will unleash their powers when they land on their designated reel. Surprisingly, the soundtrack is not really oriental and instead more like a modern fairytale tune.

A total of 10 gems in various geometrical forms and colours populate the reels. The low-value gems are smaller, appearing in green, turquoise, blue, purple and red and awarding 2x to 6.25x your bet for a single five of a kind. Their high-value counterparts are larger and encased with a golden frame. Lining up five on a spin will pay 7.5x to 50x your stake.

A gold-ornamented icon marked with the word itself is the wild symbol, substituting for all regular symbols and also paying 50x your stake when five land on a line. Aladdin and the Sorcerer are secondary wilds, each appearing on a designated reel.

Aladdin and the Sorcerer Slot Features

Key to the gameplay and mega wins are the two wizards. Aladdin can only appear on reel one while the Sorcerer will drop in on reel five only. Each will grant you a reward when they land and will trigger the main feature when both appear on the same spin.

• Aladdin on reel one without the Sorcerer on reel five: His lamp will activate to place three to six wilds in random positions
• Sorcerer on reel five without the Aladdin on reel one: His orb will activate to place three to six wilds in random positions
• Aladdin on reel one and the Sorcerer on reel five: Triggers the Respin feature with two levels

Once the Respin feature is triggered, two meters appear on top of the game window. Each has three health bars for Aladdin and the Sorcerer. The game awards unlimited respins until one of the wizards is defeated. When Aladdin lands on reel one on a respin, he will launch an attack and the Sorcerer loses one life. Accordingly, when the Sorcerer lands on reel five, he will attack leading to Aladdin losing a life. Each will add random wilds to the screen when they appear, similarly to the base game feature.

The feature ends if Aladdin loses all three lives and with that the battle. However, Level 2 of the Respin feature will be triggered if Aladdin defeats the Sorcerer. Three more respins are awarded where all wilds as well as the added random wilds from the last respin turn sticky. On the second and third respin, the wilds will carry an x2 and x3 multiplier respectively. The Level 2 respins cannot be retriggered.

Final Verdict

Well, I would really like to sound enthusiastic about this slot as the graphics and animations are top drawer. However, not so much the gameplay. Dreary in the base game and maybe slightly more exciting in the respin features. While the two antagonists land rather frequently to add random wilds, they rarely lead to a big win as if by some miracle they mostly place them in various positions where they do not connect.

The overall win potential is in our view an overly generous estimate and could only apply for the instances where Level 2 of the Respin feature is triggered and sufficient sticky wilds are on the screen. In reality, I can see the slot delivering mostly wins in the 100x to 250x range with the odd outlier going past the 500x mark.
