4ThePlayer

4ThePlayer is an up-and-coming creator of mobile-first real money games. The UK-based studio makes slots as well as innovative table games, mainly for online casinos. Founded in July 2018 by industry veterans Andrew Porter and Chris Ash, they look back on a combined 40 years of gaming industry experience and aim to put it to the best use with their new venture.

In an early push to gain popularity among casino players, the studio successfully signed partner agreements with three major aggregators – Relax Gaming with its Silver Bullet platform, Scientific Games with its SG Digital platform and Yggrasil Gaming with its YGS Masters platform. That ensured that from the first release, their games would be available at a wide range of online casinos. The studio is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission that allows it to offer its games across most regulated markets.

The first creation coming from the newly founded studio was 100BIT Dice, a remake of the original crypto game, which is typical for newcomers as they try to get a footprint with something that is easy to develop yet is popular within the casino community. However, soon after they prepared two elaborate slots for release that would put them on the radar in the immensely crowded market, showcasing the capabilities and original ideas the two gaming veterans together with their design team bring to the table.

9K Yeti went live in autumn 2019 and proved a success as it managed to stay on the front pages of casino lobbies much longer than many creations from legacy studios. A 6×4 slot with 4,096 ways built around the fabled and elusive snow creature, a generous RTP of 97% and a max win potential of just over 9,000 times the bet are the core ingredients that attracted players to spin the reels on the game. At the same time, they introduced their inhouse development called BIG REEL PORTRAIT MODE™ which enables mobile players to have a much larger game window on their relatively small smartphone screens.

The second release called 1Left Alive came towards the end of 2019, this time going live on the SG Digital platform, taking players into a doomsday scenario where one brave heroine is the last woman standing against the onslaught of hordes of undead creatures. Featuring their new game engine called PLUS+WAYS™ it gave players a 5×4 grid with a default 1,024 ways to win plus another 32,768 via a pay mechanic that would multiply winnings in specific patterns. Equipped with high volatility, an RTP of 97% and a max win potential of 4,140 coupled with suspenseful gameplay ensured the game was an instant success in the casino community
