Core to the gameplay is, as usual with grid slots, the cascading symbol mechanic. At the start of every spin sequence, 49 symbols will tumble onto the 7×7 grid with the aim to land clusters of 5 or more matching symbols landing vertically and/or horizontally adjacent or in combination with wild symbols. Any winning cluster will explode, making room for new symbols to fall into place. The spin sequence will continue until no new winning clusters occur after a fresh cascade, potentially leading to multiple winners within one round.

The base game will keep you in suspense with no less than four Myth modifiers, each associated with one of the mythical creatures. To trigger them, you will need to collect winning symbols within a single spin sequence. Each, as well as any bonus symbol, is added to the shield to the left side of the grid (desktop). Realm of Legends is an intense grid slot and a decent sequel to Dragon Fall, which was released in December 2019. This time, Blueprint concentrated the win potential on the four Myth modifiers instead of the roaming wilds with progressive multipliers.
