Elk Studios is a small but sophisticated software studio founded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2012. True to their slogan “passion for games”, they aim to deliver high quality casino games rather than quantity for both, mobile and desktop gaming. They were the first game provider focusing on mobile-optimized slots that provide the same level of excitement when they are played on a big desktop screens.
Their creative slots saw them advance over the years to a recognized player in the crowded online gaming market. Currently, they see their portfolio being listed at an increasing number of casino operators worldwide. Elk Studios made their first appearance with three slot games –Â Electric Sam, Champion’s Goal, and The Lab.
In the following years they added more than a dozen highly sophisticated, top quality games, including Wild Toro, Ho Ho Tower, Hong Kong Tower, Hidden, Lake’s Five, Ivanhoe, Route 777, DJ Wild, Bloopers, Kaiju, Poltava- Flames of War, Sam on the Beach , Taco Brothers, Wild Seas, Joker Gems and Platooners. More recently, Elk Studios added two special features to their slots – Betting Strategy and Game On. Both are designed to provide more choices for the players as well as in-game rewards. Betting Strategy offers four options as to how to play the game. Optimizer bets a specified percentage of the balance, automatically adjusting the bet size to the current balance; Leveller will increase the bet after five consecutive losing spins; Booster raises the bet after every losing spin up to four times and resets to the initial stake after a win; Jumper in turn does the same as Booster but in reverse by raising the bet after a winning spin.
The Game On feature is a built-in game marketing feature that is allows casino operators to reward players for completing game achievements. Some would see it as a loyalty program.
