Slot Details

Respin Circus is a video slot with six reels, four rows and 64 pay lines. Wins are awarded for three to six matching symbols on a line from left to right only. You can experience the circus show on desktop or mobile from 0.20 to 100 credits per spin. The RTP of this high variance game (8/10) is set at 96.30%.

The game will take you to a lively fairground with the circus tent in the background of the translucent reel set. Candy vending and amusement carts are placed on either side of the game window while a Ferris wheel can be seen in the more distant background.

Pay symbols start at the low end with the card royals from J through to A, followed by maracas, circus cannons and circus bikes. A single five of a kind will yield 0.4x to 2x your bet. The premium symbols are three animal performers – a weightlifting mouse, a concertina-playing monkey and an acrobat cat. Hit five on a line to win 2.5x to 10x your stake.

The wild symbol is the rabbit ringmaster, appearing on reels two o six only and substituting for all regular pay symbols while the scatter is an icon marked with “Free Spins”.

Respin Circus Slot Features

As expected with a colourful circus show, there is a lot happening on reels and it all starts the soon you hit a win, any win of minimum three symbols. It will trigger the Respin feature, locking the combo in place and starting one respin. Any further matching symbols or wilds landing on the respin and improving the winning combo will turn sticky as well and another respin is awarded. This continues until no new symbols land on the respin or the entire screen is filled.

And there are a few more twists. Lucky hits with symbols of higher value upgrade the existing cluster, resulting in even bigger wins. Lower-value symbol wins are paid out as they appear but are not locked in to free up space for more matching symbols to land.

And that is still not the end. Any wild rabbit landing on respin can unveil a win multiplier of x2, x3 or x4. More than one multiplier on a pay line will be added for an overall multiplier that can reach x20 when they land on a pay line. Only wins containing the wilds will be multiplied.. The rabbit might perform his best magic trick and expand to a 1×4 wild symbol, which will also turn sticky as long as the respins continue.

Prepare for the main act of the show, the free spins feature, which will be triggered when you land minimum three scatters on a spin. Each scatter is worth one free spin.

The reels will change for the respins and will have only blanks and more scatters on them. They will continue as long as a scatter lands on the respin or when you collected the maximum of 24 scatters. During the feature, any further scatter landing will award +1 free spin, no limits. The wild rabbit will expand more often in the free spins, providing more potential for extra respins and bigger wins.

Final Verdict

Is this the circus show on reels we all have been waiting for? Well, it certainly looks like an entertaining game with lots of actions in the base game and free spins as well as decent win potential. However, at press time we only had the game sheets available, hence, we will update this review with a real play verdict the soon we had our first test spins on Respin Circus.

Update 25th June 2019: Today, we had the chance to play the first spins on the new Elk slot and it is indeed highly volatile but fun to play. The good part is that you can hit mega wins in the base game and free spins as the respin feature, which is key to the gameplay, can be triggered in both.
