All through this review, it felt like a rather bland game with recycled features that we have seen countless times. However, the twist of turning a reel into a sticky wild gives it the spice that is needed to make the arduous climb to the top of the rock worthwhile. The downside is that the free spins can’t be retriggered. Even just one additional spin per each sticky wild reel would have made Ivory Citadel a really exciting slot with big potential. The result though is another medium variance, medium entertaining, medium win potential slot coming to the Microgaming platform that won’t raise too many eyebrows among the slot playing community.
