Tiki Mania Slot Features

The game has quite a range of features that will make for entertaining slotting sessions, especially when comparing it to other 2019 releases from Microgaming, which in itself is quite a low standard. But let’s focus on Tiki Mania for now.

The action on the reels starts the soon you hit a nudging Red Tiki wild on reel two and/or four as it will trigger the Respin feature. It will lock in place after it expanded to cover the reel and award a respin. Blue, green and yellow tiki wilds can now land on reels two to five, each carrying a multiplier of x1, x2 or x3. The feature continues as long as new wins occur on a respin. All multiplier wilds in view will be multiplied by each other, providing the chance for a maximum x27 win multiplier.

Tiki Mania comes with two fixed jackpots – Major at 50x and Grand at 1,000x the total bet. Any red tiki wild landing on the reels will add a gold coin to jackpot meter which can randomly trigger at end of a Respin feature to award one of the two jackpots.

Lastly, 10 free spins are triggered when you land princess scatters anywhere on reels two, three and four in one spin. There are no extra multipliers or modifiers in the bonus round, but you’ll get +1 free spin for each scatter and the Respin feature can trigger too.

Final Verdict

At press time, we had not received a demo link for Tiki Mania yet and relied on a simple game sheet to write this review. Hence, it is at best preliminary. We will, of course, add any missing information the soon we can. At first glance, the slot looks interesting and certainly has more going for it than other 2019 creations coming from Microgaming and its partner studios.

Update 21st October 2019: Today we had our first spins on the game and after two hours of play we can confirm our first impression. The game plays well and has some good win potential. Still far off from some of the current player favourites but at least it looks like an upwards trend.
