The reel mayhem on Nitropolis starts when you land any win during the base game and free spins as it will trigger the Winning Respins feature. Once initial pays are evaluated, all symbols and Nitro Reels that were part of the combo will respin again and again as long as new wins occur. All is reset at the end of a spin sequence and the accumulated win paid.

The mayhem turns into madness when Nitro Reels land anywhere on the screen. They will always cover two vertical reel positions and unveil 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 identical symbols, thus creating more ways to win, up to the maximum of 85,155,840. Different Nitro Reels do not necessarily contain the same symbol. Well, Elk Studios promised chaos when they announced the Nitropolis slot and that is pretty much what they delivered. Even more experienced players won’t have the foggiest as to what is going on at times, especially when multiple Nitro Reels land simultaneously. But it all combines well together to deliver an intense gaming experience with a comical touch. The question that remains is how often we will see the maximum 85 million ways. I venture to say, nearly as rare as snow in the desert.
